Asus MG248Q review

A reasonably-priced 144Hz gaming display with Adaptive Sync

144Hz refresh rate ; 1ms response time ; Adaptive Sync

TN panel ; Is 24 inches too small? ; Adaptive Sync for AMD and Intel only

For the money, you can't buy a faster gaming display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. Some might be turned off by the TN panel, but it still looks darn good in the flesh. You won't be disappointed.

Beautifully smooth 1080p gaming at 144Hz with adaptive-sync.

Poor viewing angles of TN panel technology.

Nice Wide Screen. Adjustable settings for image quality (Including Motion feature settings like Trace Free). Loads of adjustments available for monitor height, rotation and angle. Useful tools such as FPS counter, Timers, and cross-hairs.

Default Image settings seem to be incorrect and need tweaking before use. (High saturation, and brightness though that is personal preference.) Navigating some of the unique tools like the cross-hairs and Timers can be tricky when attempting to disable...

Great colour quality, crisp and clear image. Especially great for competitive gamers, the low response time and 144hz are a definite edge. Very easy to set up, all ports are labeled and instructions are very clear. It sits a little longer than a full...

It shipped with the wrong power connector; You might have to buy another one before you can use (£5max)
