GoPro HD Helmet Hero review

The GoPro HD Helmet Hero may not be as small or good-looking as the Contour GPS action cam, but it has plenty of other advantages. Like the GPS, it can shoot at 1,920x1,080 at 30fps and also has a 60fps 720p mode, which is great for slo-mo footage.

Stunning image quality, albeit with average audio, makes this the best action camera we've seen

GoPro HD Helmet Hero review

There's a good chance that if you need a helmet cam, you're the type of person who likes clambering up cliff faces and throwing yourself from planes. Handy, then, that the GoPro HD Helmet Hero is so extreme, working in the coldest conditions and able...

Works in extreme conditions, 1080p filming, slow-mo

Chunky and not pretty

Ideal for extreme sports fans, whether you love to board or climb

Clear images easy to use, no viewfinding or preview, no GPS.

I purchased the GoPro HD Hero 2 motorsport edition online - you really are getting ripped off if you pay anything much over the $350, I have seen them for sale elsewhere from $500 to a ludicrous $799. I am content with the quality of the video and the...

Quality vision, reasonably priced.

No viewfinder, no GPS & awkward shape.

Rugged, great view with the fish eye lens.

Need to learn how to recognise beeps and what angles work without a preview screen.
